Founder & Residential Supervisor
Elisabeth Teshome, the Residential Supervisor, is a DSP Supervisor who meets the QDDP criteria, holding a bachelor's degree in nursing and possessing15 years of experience. She has worked in various acute hospital settings, gaining comprehensive experience with medical-surgical, psychiatric, stroke/neurology, and surgical patients. Additionally, team members are trained in CPR and first aid, ensuring they provide excellent service and are well-versed in their roles.
Our Direct Support Professionals
Our Direct Support Professionals are required to undergo training and certification in medication administration and management, possess Certified Nursing Assistant credentials, and hold certifications in CPR and First Aid They must have at least one year of experience as direct support professionals and a strong dedication to assisting individuals with disabilities. In their role, the DSP provides hands-on support for daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication management. They foster independence, improve social skills, and promote community involvement. Additionally, the DSP tracks individual progress, communicates with families, and works with the interdisciplinary team to implement tailored care plans, creating a nurturing environment that empowers residents to flourish.
